In my opinion, this car is not for beginners. Everything about it is awesome except cogging. They took 144001 model, switched electronics and that's about it. The 144001 was an awesome car, but it had a brushed motor. This model has a brushless motor, which has more power but doesn't like overgeared pinions. To resolve this, you need to buy an engine mount for 144001 and a smaller pinion (0.6 and 15 tooths worked for me). Then swap those two parts. This will reduce maximum speed dramatically, but adds a lot of torque. You can buy a 3S lipo (it works just fine) or an engine with higher kV, for example, 4360kV or so. If it wasn't for this, this would be an awesome little car.
